The Beaded Flower Newsletter is Back!

The newsletter is back as a monthly and I look forward to hearing your comments.

Each month there will be a section on "Featured Websites". Flower beading is an international art but language barriers don't have to stop the serious beader. With good illustrations, those of us who speak and read only English can absorb books in Italian, French, Dutch, German and Russian. I find these hidden gems and feature 1 or 2 in each newsletter, many times with free tutorials.

I've redesigned Beaded Garden with a lot more menu options including sections on miniatures, holidays, most popular patterns, books, eBooks and more. Let me know what you think by posting a comment!

Best of all is a search feature! Just type in your favorite flower and you'll find all the patterns available.

Also new is a destash section where you'll find bead books and magazines on various beading techniques as well as surplus supplies.

From time to time I'll be selling some hard to find items. As a subscriber, you'll always be the first to hear about these offers.

Featured Web Sites
Featured are 2 Russian bead flower artists, Elena and Natalia Verbitskaya

Elena Fiori Di Perline on facebook is from Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy. Five years ago she started making butterflies, then roses and small plants. She always wanted a house full of plants and flowers but since she didn't have a green thumb she decided to create beaded compositions which never need any maintenance. After a few years of traditional patterns she designed her own world of fantasy creations. She has several pictorial patterns.
Be sure to check out her other albums with bridal bouquets, roses, sunflowers, orchids and more.

Natalia Verbitskaya has several free tutorials:
The instructions are in Russian but using Google Chrome browser it's very easy to translate to English. Just right click on a blank spot at the top of the page (I click in the upper right), then select "Translate to English".
